Meet Pooya
Pooya is a wedding DJ and Farsi-English MC based in Irvine, California with 15 years of experience in Persian and multicultural celebrations. His work spans Southern California and travel weddings, including receptions at The Beverly Hilton, The London West Hollywood and Pendry West Hollywood. His Persian wedding expertise covers the celebration from Sofreh Aghd ceremony sound and music to family introductions, the couple’s entrance and extended reception dancing.
On the microphone, he combines an energetic delivery with clear, courteous hosting in both languages, helping Iranian relatives and English-speaking guests follow the same celebration. How Pooya Plans and Runs the Entertainment
Choose entrance songs, special dances, must-plays and do-not-plays in a dedicated music planning tool. Add separate Spotify or YouTube playlists for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.
Your final timeline meeting covers announcements and their song cues together, including introductions in Farsi and English, so each formal moment has a clear sequence.
